In the Beginning...

Here is some background info about the current residents of Prosperity Fellowship.

This is a pic showing some of the families... here are the teens...
and the elders.
Upon arriving in Prosperity Fellowship. Various members of different families died, The Roma adults, Mr. Cooprider, Mrs Kirkendall, the Rosada parents, Mrs. Busto (family not in game due to glitch), and Mr. Upton (I think that's it). Mr. Potts and Mr. Shurzenjager also mysteriously vanished...

Anyway things were not off to a great start, and many of the families had already come from depressing situations. Here is the backgrounds of the families. Sorry to bore you with this, you can skip over it though I don't recommend it as it may confuse you later. I will have family pics and stats at the beginning of my first entries on each household.

Yessam: The Robot factory where Rich and Jenn worked closed down. Worried about financial problems they decided to move to Prosperity Fellowship after receiving a strange flier in their mailbox. It promised good fortune in the new neighborhood. Jenn's mother Mamma J decided to join them, claiming a dream had convinced her it was the right thing to do. Ignoring the strangeness of this statement, they agreed to move with her.

Kirkendall: After the children's father was put in jail due to extensive gambling and the attempted murder of his wife, Mrs Kirkendall began to fear for the future of her family. Troubled, she searched for opportunities elsewhere, but did not find anything to her liking. A flier in the mailbox seemed to solve their problems. But once settled in Prosperity Fellowship, Mrs. Kirkendall passed away suddenly, with no explanation. Poor Esmond has to care for his three younger siblings, all by himself.

Cooprider: Layce and Siba had lived in the Fellowship in the good ole' days. After spending their lives in the "real world", they had begun to lose faith that they would ever truly be happy again. When sorting through the bills one day, Siba came across a strange flier. "Prosperity Fellowship??" Siba convinced Layce that the best thing to do was to move the family to their old, loved neighborhood. Celeste, Layce's daughter, only agreed because her son Risto had lately begun getting in trouble with the law. Her and her husband thought a change of settings would be good for him. Upon arrival Mr. Cooprider died due to a swarm of flies. Well, what a great start!

Schurzenjager: Hilda was troubled. Her son, King of Vstivalisky (wherever that is) was receiving tonnes of death threats from other politicians. Her eyes flittered across her desk to the strangely bright flier. It was in a totally different language. She snapped her fingers and her translator rushed to her side. As he explained, Hilda's eyes lighted up. Within months, the whole family found themselves in Prosperity Fellowship. Then the Henio, the King, vanished. Hilda is forced to now raise her grandchildren and perhaps dirty her hands!

Olsen (Busto replacement): Cameron was the best known model in many countries around the world. Life was perfect. Until her boyfriend broke up with her. He also managed to ruin her reputation by photoshopping her into a pic of her making out with, a girl! Cameron was heartbroken, jobless, and a single mom. Dolly, Cameron's mother came rushing into the apartment one day, exclaiming that she could solve all their problems. In her hands was a shiny flier. Dolly, Cameron, Logan, Justin, Lyndsay and Keira, wind up in Prosperity Fellowship. How is a model and retired singer supposed to raise 4 kids with little money?

Potts: Alexandria had always been a model child. Her family was absolutely normal in every way. They were middle class, her worked at Walmart, and her Dad was a carpenter. Alexandria was a great student and the typical "girl next door". Then she met him. The star quarter back on the high school football team. The richest guy in school. Also the most sought after. His future consisted of Harvard, marrying a beautiful women, owning a Ferrari, and living in a mansion on the beach. He fell for her. Alexandria was worried. Her parents would never accept him, they would consider him dangerous, his parents would never accept her, she was nothing special, and she would ruin his dreams. She was right, her parents hated him, his parents hated her and he gave up his dreams for her. But they were perfectly happy. Ryan was born, then a couple years later the quadruplets. He loved his kids. Life was good. Then Mr. Potts disappeared. Poor Alexandria was forced to move, the flier offered her the closest thing to a good life she would ever get. And perhaps, perhaps he would find her and the kids there...

Norwood: Beulah had once lived in Prosperity Fellowship, but had followed her husband to a new life. The Norwood's had prospered on the farm, until the fire. Shortly after, Beulah's husband passed away and Channing's wife cracked, leaving her husband and family to deal without her. Then Bruce had found the flier. A new life??

Roma: Giovanni and Salvatore (sorry if the names are spelled incorrectly) lived in Italy. Life was good, 3 kids, a small house, and the family pizza parlor kept them happily occupied. Then the parlor went bankrupt due to a pasta place moving in next door. Slowly the Roma's found themselves experiencing poverty. Dontella brought home a flier one day that she had found in the streets on her way home from the market place. It offered them a fresh start, and 20, 000 simoleons. How could they resist! Upon arrival, disaster struck leaving Dontella to fend for herself and her brothers.

Corocan: Corky lived a life similar to that of the Olsens. As a movie star, life was good. Until, her boyfriend was found dead in her pool! Accusations of her murdering him swarmed the press. Corky had to leave, and fast. The flier contained her salvation. Is Corky running from her guilt, or from fear of being accused for a crime she did not commit?

Jenkins: After James mum died, Moira decided her grandson needed a change of pace. He was already showing rebellion, and a large interest in females. Not that she could blame him. His alcoholic Father, skanky (Moira's word, not mine!) Mother, and lack of moral upbringing meant that it wasn't really his fault he was such a punk (another of Moira's words). Prosperity Fellowship would be a great place to raise him properly Moira decided after tucking the flier into her purse. Fellowship here the Jenkins come!

Rosada: After the nuclear power plant they lived by exploded, the Rosadas decided that they needed a new start. Their multi colored skin tone may be considered unique, but it was also considered weird. The flier stated that everybody would be accepted, no matter if they had 'abnormalities'. The parents suddenly died, doctors claimed it to be a unknown disease. Umm, 2 teen and 3 toddlers are living by themselves??? Uh oh...

Proffit: Bob couldn't help being a ladies man. After all, he is extremely good looking... His wife was not impressed by his excuses so she left him, and her 3 boys. His mom and aunt (... I think she's his aunt??), moved in to help him out. They were very exited because they had found a flier in the mail about a new community. Bob is now Mr. It, a free romance sim, but will he ever learn??

Upton: Miles was not born into a responsible family. His parents had not intended on having children so upon his birth they dumped him in his Grandfather's arms and left for New York. Miles is almost an adult and he still has never met his parents. Marshall decided that the idea of revisiting his old hometown would be great. The flier had started a new life for the Uptons!
